Dr. Ashanti Hameed, MD, MS

Founder of Whiz Kidz Press and author of her debut book The Littlest Doctor. Ashanti loves helping young readers believe in big dreams!

Ashanti Hameed is an aspiring doctor who turned a childhood dream into a lifelong mission. Born and raised in New Jersey, she discovered a deep passion for children early on and followed that passion all the way to medical school.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Montclair State University, a Master of Science from Drexel University, and recently earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Washington University of Health and Science.

As a proud child advocate for Union County, she is dedicated to ensuring that every child feels seen, heard, and cared for.
